Testimonial

I have been training with Andy for the last 12 months and I can honestly say that he has changed my life! My body shape has changed, I am more confident in myself, and I am fitter than I have ever been. His positive attitude to life is inspirational and I’m looking forward to moving to the next level of my fitness journey.

This is Me

I’m Andy, 57 and live in Godalming. I’ve been active all my life from the age of 7 with hobbies such as Judo , karate and Shorinji Kempo. I have spent some time in the military and keep myself fit in the last few years with gym, horse riding and running.

I have a wealth of knowledge and experience. I know the mind is stronger than the body so we will need to work on both.

My beliefs are

To become fitter and healthier, we must look at your whole life not just what you do in the gym.

My aim is for you to feel as confident as you can in your own body and mind. This will help you at work and in your leisure time. You will not become a superhero with a six pack, but I can guarantee you will be stronger, more positive and feel better than you imagine you could be.

I am currently working with men and women of different ages. I am not your typical young, university educated instructor with the perfect body, I am a mature family man with a wealth of experience. Training over many years in martial arts and with the military and with a diploma in Complete Mind Therapy. I found my experience is my best asset and share this with my clients to benefit them.

As we get older, we need more care, and we cannot do the same as we did when we were 20. This doesn’t mean to say we have to give up because our knee is a bit stiff, or we don’t feel mentally in the right place now.

Small alterations in diet and the way we think can have a huge impact on how our body and mind function. I am not a believer in strict diets, as long as the body has all the nutrients it requires to perform well.

How can I help you

I work on a one-to-one basis, there is no set plan to accomplish your goals, every client requires something different, and this is my strength as I can identify this quickly and tailor the programme to you personally.

I want my clients to leave each session feeling energised, positive and ready to seize the day. Training should not feel like a punishment.

Fitness and mindfulness go hand in hand on my programmes.

An initial face to face consultation will cost £50 This will help us to establish if you have true expectations of what can be achieved in the time you can dedicate. Together we can create a plan to reach your goals.

Misconceptions

You will have a six pack like you had in your 20s (I never had a six pack in my 20’s!)
No pain, no gain
It’s going to be easy
Protein shakes and chemicals will make you fit

Truths

Age is nothing but a number
You really are stronger than you think
You can become the real you again
You are what you eat

Excuses

I’m too unfit
Tried before, it never worked
I have a dodgy knee, ankle, etc.
I’m too old
Who cares (you should)
Time is an issue
I’m big boned
